Myself and my daughter Sydney, will be making the walk from the Charlton training ground to The Valley on the day of the Charlton v Hull City home match, Saturday April 25th.
The event, The Upbeats Walk, is to raise money for a wonderful cause called The Charlton Upbeats. This award-winning disability sports program, founded in 2008 and run by the Charlton Athletic Community Trust is for children and adults with down syndrome.
We get to see these amazing guys regularly at matches and around the club and have friendships with people that benefit from this wonderful initiative.
This will be my 2nd walk and Sydney is joining me for the 1st time this year to experience the fantastic experience that I had last year.
